BC Safe Driving Online Course

Course Overview

This BC Safe Driving course is a comprehensive defensive driving program designed to teach responsible driving practices and to help drivers of all experience levels become better drivers. This course covers the rules of the road and the safety obligations of drivers to help you drive safely in BC.

The material for this driving course was developed in consultation with police officers, driving instructors, traffic engineers, psychologists, professional drivers, and driving lawyers. The curriculum is specifically designed to dismantle the attitudes poor drivers use to justify their driving behaviour.

Exam & Certificate Of Completion

Exam questions are interspersed throughout the course to ensure that attention is given to the course material. The exam has a minimum of 50 questions which are different for each student. The passing grade is 70%. This course is conducted entirely online. It takes approximately 3.5 hours to complete. Stringent procedures are maintained to ensure compliance with the course rules.

Participants who achieve a passing grade receive a Certificate of Completion.
