Qualification & Certification

Alberta residents can reduce the demerit points on their driver’s license. They are eligible for a 3-point reduction every 2 years.

If you achieve at least 80% on the final exam, you’ll receive a Government Notice of Completion form during the class. Bring this form to any local registry office. The registry will process the 3-point demerit reduction for you.
