Mentally Active Driving Program (Blended)

This program is specially designed to meet the needs of Energy Sector drivers. This blended training program is designed for companies and drivers who want to balance rich training and hands-on experience with budget demands. Students: 

1. Learn the latest in Defensive Driving theory by completing the mandatory prerequisite: Online Defensive Driving – Condensed Version, then  

2. Participate in a 2-hour practical, hands-on, in-vehicle training that reinforces good driving habits and skills. As well as 1 on 1 driving time in FSI’s specially designed Skid Vehicle. 

Prerequisite: Registrants will automatically receive a license to the online training upon registration and payment for the course. This online training must be completed before the scheduled in-vehicle training session.

STUDENT REQUIREMENTS TO ATTEND THS CLASS: Valid driver's license (no copies or photos, the original card must be provided), eyeglasses/contact lenses, valid registration & insurance in the vehicle (commercial), proper driving footwear (no flip flops, sandals or heels).
