Course Description
This program is designed specifically for professional truck drivers. It is a government-approved program that is highlighted by Fleet Safety International’s internationally recognized SAFER System of defensive driving. Successful participants receive a 3-demerit reduction off their license.
When you come to class, please bring your valid driver’s license. You’ll have a 30-minute lunch—bring lunch or plan to visit nearby options.
Qualification & Certification
Alberta residents can reduce the demerit points on their driver’s license. They are eligible for a 3-point reduction every 2 years.
If you achieve at least 80% on the final exam, you’ll receive a Government Notice of Completion form during the class. Bring this form to any local registry office. The registry will process the 3-point demerit reduction for you.
